Dasha Florov
Dasha Florov is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges design, sculpture, and painting. Rooted in a deep love of materials and form, her practice explores the intersection of texture, shape, and emotion—often inspired by the natural world.
She holds a BFA in Industrial (Product) Design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and began her creative path in her father’s woodshop, carving luxury tobacco pipes. Over five years, she created over 50 bespoke works for clients around the world and was invited to multiple national showcases, including four Chicago Pipe Shows.
Now, she’s carving her own smoke-free path—fusing traditional craft with modern techniques and personal storytelling. Dasha is passionate about keeping traditional carving alive while integrating it with modern aesthetics.
