In the artist's native Russian, "imya" means "name," while "imma" is colloquial English slang for "I am." By omitting a letter from each word, the title creates a subtle yet profound connection between identity and existence, reflecting the unnamed yet intimately connected figures. This duality invites viewers to ponder the fluidity of names and selfhood.
